Monster Hunter 4 -”no plans” for a Vita version, Capcom reiterates

Capcom has reiterated that at present, there are no plans to bring Monster Hunter 4 to PlayStation Vita. According to chief operating officer Haruhiro Tsujimoto speaking with Mainichi Shinbun Digital, the firm wants as many people as possible playing it on 3DS as it is "only thinking about making it succeed.” He further stated the goal is to reach 2.8 million units sold within seven months of Monster Hunter 4’s release.
