Pac-Man takes up Hot Shots Golf

Thursday, 22nd August 2013 11:39 GMT By Dave Owen

Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational has a new guest character in the form of Pac-Man. It is, understandably, the more recent version of Pac-Man where he has arms and legs.

Namco-Bandai’s iconic ghost-botherer will cost 400 yen ($4) for either the PS3 or PS Vita version of the game. If you want him on both (and why wouldn’t you?) you can buy a PS3 and Vita set that gives you access to Pac-Man on both systems. That’ll set you back 600 yen ($6).

To be honest, the trailer is worth it for just how happy Pac-Man looks to be on a golf course and not trapped in a maze with murderous multi-coloured ghosts.

Thanks, Siliconera.

I think the prices are too high and in Europe at least existing DLC for Vita was cross-buy when the PS3 version came out. So if you had already bought DLC for the Vita version you could download it for free for the PS3 version.

They do put a decent amount of effort into these characters though. Sackboy and Kratos in EG:World Tour were particularly well done.
