FIFA 14 on Vita is a reskin for the second year in a row

FIFA 14 will be coming to PS Vita, but it'll be all but the same game that came out when Sony's handheld first launched.

This isn't the first time this has happened either. FIFA 13 on Vita was exactly the same game as FIFA Soccer the year before. The only differences were new players and kits. These are the only changes that are coming to FIFA 14 too.

"There will be a Vita version, and it'll be the same great gameplay," EA Sports' David Rutter told Eurogamer at Gamescom in Cologne. He was then asked whether this meant it was the exact same gameplay as FIFA Soccer and FIFA 14. Rutter confirmed: "It's the same great gameplay and new kits."

It's disappointing news, and really calls into question the premium prices at which EA lists Vita FIFA titles. There's no word on pricing for FIFA 14 just yet. If it once again carries a premium price, it'll be a frankly shameful move.
