PS4 demonstrated by a relaxed Shuhei Yoshida

Wednesday, 21st August 2013 01:24 GMT By Brenna Hillier

Sony’s gamescom press conference started in a slightly unusual manner, with SCE Worldwide Studios boss Shuhei Yoshida relaxing in an armchair, and flicking through the PlayStation 4′s user interface before joining a game. If you’d like to relive this moment – and get a look at the PS4 in action – it is enshrined in video form through the break.

You’ll see Yoshida browsing the new Live Areas for games, which are similar to those on Vita, viewing video and exporting his own content.

The PlayStation 4 is coming in November. See all the PS4 and Vita news from gamescom 2014.

That was a really nice way to show the UI.I like the XMB(is it even still called that). The playstation live feature looked really sweet, and if the console loads that fast all the time then it should be great.I have no interest in Killzone though, but for other games it looks amazing.OMG the cash I will need to give out come november for both PS4 and Xbox One.I may get rid of Wii U maybe.Due to the fact I wasn’t blown away with W101,Pikmin 3 or mario.Zelda hd looks nice but i still have the original. That and the pad isn’t exactly amazing.I would like Bayonetta 2 but on that pad I can’t imagine enjoying it(personally).

Got to hand it to they guys&gals at VG24/7.It was a busy day gaming news wise and you kept me up to date. Thanks alot :)
