The Chinese Room announces Everybody's Gone to the Rapture for PS4

Amnesia developer The Chinese Room is bringing it's dark Everybody's Gone to the Rapture to PS4.

Sony announced the game at its pre-gamescom event and the reveal trailer shows some sort of cataclysmic event. The clip makes clear that the game begins with the end of the world.

Like Dear Esther before it, the game is all about the story with simple gameplay using basic exploration of a first-person world.

You play the role of a scientist who is trapped during the apocalypse and you need to discover what has happened by exploring an open-world environment, and interacting with objects, places and people you encounter.

More on the game will be revealed due course, but the game's focus is on a "deep, highly immersive and emotional journey that's non-linear, with a dynamic and adaptive environment."

No release date just yet, but you can look over shots and the trailer below.
