Shadow of the Eternals well short of Kickstarter goal as end date approaches

Shadow of the Eternals, a spiritual successor to the Gamecube favourite Eternal Darkness, is struggling to reach its Kickstarter funding goal. Precursor Games, a studio which features many who worked on Eternal Darkness, is asking for $750,000. At time of writing, they've only raised $277,000 with four days left to go.

Shadow of the Eternals will follow multiple playable characters in different time periods. A core feature of gameplay will be Sanity Systems, which were recently detailed in a video:

More details can be found on the project's Kickstarter page. At the moment it seems unlikely that the project will reach its goal. Precursor Games will likely seek alternative funding.
