Ridge Racer: Driftopia now taking PS3 beta applications

Namco Bandai is now taking beta applications for Ridge Racer: Driftopia's PlayStation 3 beta test, which has not been dated.

Beta registrations are being taken through PlayStation.com.

The free-to-play racer's PC beta began earlier this month, and getting in has proved to be pretty easy. No word yet on how many participants the PS3 beta will accept, or when it will kick off.

A follow-up to Ridge Racer Unbounded, the open-world racer is in the works at Bugbear Entertainment. It doesn't have a release date beyond sometime this year, and is not coming to Xbox 360 at present.

Thanks, CVG.
