Fighter Within headed to Xbox One and Kinect, cache suggests

Mysterious Ubisoft title Fighter Within is now a little less mysterious; a trigger-happy website post suggests it's a Kinect-based fighter for Xbox One.

The title was outed last week when a couple of domain registrations turned up, but at the time, the website held only a "coming soon" message. Fusible had the bright idea of checking for a Google Cache snapshot, and although no images were retained, the service did cough up the text pasted below.

The PR blurb suggests the title is an Xbox One exclusive using Kinect, with online multiplayer and some element of strategy or tactics, as players will be able to collect, choose and position power ups.

We're expecting Fighter Within to be unveiled at gamescom this week; Ubisoft has promised at least one next-gen reveal.

At this point in time it seems pertinent to remember Fighters Uncaged, an AMA Studios-developed Kinect title which Ubisoft published in 2010; it's too much to hope that theres no connection with the poorly-received title, whence comes the header image used on this article.
