Dragon Age: Inquisition has a difficult balance to walk between the tactical options of Origins and the action-feel of Dragon Age 2; in the video below, BioWare discusses how it’s hoping to achieve this.
It sounds like timing may be one of the more important aspects in keeping Dragon Age 2’s fluid feel, but there are also abilities which blur the line between tactical and action combat, such as a skill to pull enemies towards the group, or stagger them and lower their defence if they are shielded.
