New iPhone set for September 10 reveal - report

Apple's next iteration of iPhone will be revealed on September 10, according to a new report.

AllThingsD reports that Apple will unveil the iPhone 5's successor during an event on September 10.

The site claims that sources have described the new iPhone as an iteration on iPhone 5, rather than a full revision. Think of the shift between iPhone 4 and 4S and you're on the right track.

Is is believed that the phone will come with iOS 7 as standard, complete with an overhauled interface and new optimisation features.

AllThingsD adds that Apple is expected to launch the next version of Mac OS X - currently known as 'Mavericks' - at the event.
