Civilization Online to release in Korea, other territories TBC

Civilization Online is not currently scheduled to release outside Korea.

“Civilization Online is developed by South Korea-based XL Games in partnership with 2K, and will be available first in Korea,” 2K PR manager Brian Roundy told Massively.

“No release date has been set. There are no plans for a North American release at this time.”

Although no mention was made of European release, that’s likely the result of a direct query from US-based Massively. We’ll check with 2K.

The MMO was detailed yesterday, but 2K did not send a general press release, providing information to a few specialised MMO publications only.
