Splinter Cell: Blacklist Wii U has no offline co-op, despite having online co-op

Splinter Cell: Blacklist on Wii U lacks offline co-op play, despite having an online co-op mode.

Speaking with Nintendo Life, producer Liu Jun explained the offline mode’s absence, “In order to ship at the same time as the other consoles, we unfortunately weren’t able to delve into this feature.

“But we think Nintendo gamers will be really excited to get the game at the same time as other consoles.”

While this might rile up some Wii U owners, the game does have a number of GamePad-specific functions not found in other versions. Check them out here.

Ok so lemme see if i got this right:

Batman Arkham Origins = No Multiplayer.
Splinter Cell Blacklist = No Offline Co-Op
    Rayman Legends = Previously Exclusive.
Sniper Warrior 2 = Cut Content
EA Games = Something was wrong with each version of their games.
    Whats next?

End of the road I think, if the trend continues.

Pure laziness on part of developers. Same laziness around when PS3 struggled to get off the ground. Once the system picks up steam, they’ll have no choice but to give effort. Poor sales of the games will teach them that lesson.

Not really they will just move on.

I’m just guessing EA was mad since Nintendo didn’t want Origin.
I’m fine with no offline though, if it was online then I would be mad.
@4 No, once a system picks up companies want money.

Not if poor sales continue and given that games on Wii U have broken a Million its not out of the realm of possibility for publishers to expect that.
