Rune Factory 4 delayed by "absolutely massive" content

Rune Factory 4 is taking longer to localise than XSEED expected, and has ben delayed.

"The game is absolutely massive and taking much longer to QA (play through the English for quality assurance) than we originally anticipated," an XSEED staff member said in response to a question on Facebook.

"Right now we could be looking at a late September or October release, but it will definitely be worth the wait."

The Neverland-developed RPG has been expected sometime during northern summer but XSEED hasn't put anything more than this tentative window on it; the small publisher is somewhat notorious - in a good way - for refusing to commit until quite close to launch date, as it is subject to the vagaries of localisation and retailer whim.

Rune Factory 4 is a 3DS exclusive which arrived in Japan on July 2013.
