Level-5 Vision 2013 conference dated, new announcements expected

Thursday, 1st August 2013 09:23 GMT By Dave Cook

Ni No Kuni developer Level-5 has dated this year’s Vision 2013 conference. Expect new announcements at the show.

Siliconera reports that the conference will take place August 26 in Japan. We’ll narrow down the venue as more details come through.

The site cautions that in the past, Level-5 has used the event to announce some of its marquee releases, including the western release of Ni No Kuni, so the chances of new announcements this year are high.

In the meantime you can check out my rare interview with Level-5′s CEO Akihiro Hino where we discuss the inside story on how the company became so big from its humble origins.

Are you holding out for any particular news? Let us know below.

I liked the Guild games on the 3DS.

Maybe they will announce that they scrapped the visual novel idea of liberation maiden sin and went with a proper game instead.

    …Probably not :(

@4 @6, Here’s an even crazier suggestion that tops both of those…

    …wait for it…

…a completely new franchise with completely new RPG mechanics, completely new characters, and a completely new setting.

Obviously Professor Layton VS Ace Attorney localisation. For release before Christmas. I wish. I hope.
