Dragon Quest Monsters 2 3DS remake announced

Dragon Quest Monsters 2: Iru and Luca’s Wonderful Mysterious Keys is getting the re-make treatment on 3DS courtesy of Square-Enix.
Gematsu reports that rumblings of a re-make first surfaced after domain registrations were found in connection with the title.
It's now official, and the game is confirmed as having some 800 monsters, 4v4 battles, StreetPass functions, local and online multiplayer for up to eight players and more.
No release date or pricing was confirmed but you can check out the game's site here.
It's just a shame no sod can import it now eh?
