Mortal Kombat: Legacy show to get tie in game from NetherRealm - report

Mortal Kombat developer NetherRealm Studios is said to be working on a new entry to the series that will tie in to the Legacy live-action series. The game was mentioned casually by Legacy's producer Lance Sloane in an interview.

Speaking with GamerHub.TV, Sloane said, "Well, we've been in greenlight committee for a while at the studio and we've got a great script. And we've got a great director with Kevin Tancharoen, who is on board.

"It's just figuring out the business side of it and when we would do it and when we would launch it and how do we sync up with the launch of the game that they're working on now. It's not 100% yet, but we're getting closer every day."

So could we be looking at one of those "Watch the show of the game, play the game of the show" transmedia affairs in the next Mortal Kombat? What do you think?
