Injustice: Gods Among Us devs explain Martian Manhunter's play style

Injustice: Gods Among Us developer NetherRealm Studios has described how incoming DLC character Martian Manhunter handles in battle during a new Twitch stream.

You can check out a recording of the live stream here, but Siliconera has kindly filtered out the waffle and given us the low-down on how Martian Manhunter plays in classic bullet-point form.

So in short then, Martian Manhunter can stretch his body Dhalsim-style using a trait called “Alien Malleability”. He can use this to pull off combos from a distance, and coupled with his ability to teleport and combo moves together in succession makes him sound like a screen-filling pain in the arse.

The caveat is that he's weak at close range and only slightly better at mid-range which makes him something of an anomaly in the field. He's not a rush-down type either, although he has a nifty air-dash that costs meter. He can combo air dashes together to flit around at speed.

He sounds quite brilliant doesn't he? Check out his reveal trailer here. He's also not the last DLC character we'll see according to the studio.
