Puppeteer video shows you how to harness the power of collectible heads

Sony has released a Puppeteer video explaining some of the concepts behind the game world, and some of the 100-odd heads you can collect.

The most valuable of these collectibles will be the Hero Heads, which bestow the character Kutaro with a new ability.

The Knight Head, for example, will enable you to deflect incoming projectiles with the Shield Power; while the Ninja Head will provide you with Bomb Power enabling you to hurl explosives at enemies and blow up parts of the environment.

Then, there’s the Moon Pirate Head which allows you to make use of a grappling hook that yanks enemies closer or latches onto a boss creature.

Finally, the Wrestler Head lets use Brute Power which can crush enemies and shatter parts of the environment.

It all sounds interesting and is an adorable-looking game.

Puppeteer launches on PS3 September 10 in North American and September 11 in Europe.
