PS4 and PS3 console sizes compared in new video

Friday, 26th July 2013 11:35 GMT By Dave Cook

Sony’s PS Access channel has produced a quick video that compares the size of both the PS3 and PS4, like some hardware-based dick-swinging contest. Check it out.

What do you think?

Recently in PS4 news, this developer has said that Sony is giving out next-gen fev kits for free as if they were candy.

Thanks PS Access.

It’s probably the same as current-gen, you can download a game while playing an offline game, but not while online. Would just make the games laggy if you’re hosting for example, so it wouldn’t make any sense.

It depends on what part of the game the developer pushes to be available first. If it’s multiplayer, then you would be able to play online, if it’s storymode, then you’ll have to wait for the multiplayer module to finish downloading.

In most cases (as #2 pointed out) you’ll want to wait for your internet tubes to free up before going into battle and risk lagging out.

I would rather see how it compares to the current model myself.

the ability to download in the background all boils down to “bandwidth.”

The original PS3 really has aged badly. And the 4 looks terrible. Sort of like a pathetic Chinese attempt at a cutting edge design.
