Destiny of Spirits co-op play detailed

Recently-revealed free-to-play Vita RPG Destiny of Spirits has a strong emphasis on co-operative and social play.

The location-driven, turn-based strategy RPG has players from around the world working together to beat up Chaos spirits.

According to the PlayStation Blog, each day the Destiny Engine - a calendar drawing on both Eastern and Western astrology - will match players up with compatible co-op buddies.

By making friends with these suggested partners, players will be able to engage in a number of social activities - trading spirits to pick up those not found in your geographic region; renting spirits to aid you in your fight; and providing support attacks called Destiny Strikes.

Destiny of Spirits is in the works at Q Entertainment, known for Rez HD and Child of Eden.
