ugh seriously why is there a guns blazing option in Splinter Cell? WTF? Ghost should be the ONLY option.

    Dumbest comment ever.

I played through MGS3 and 4 killing every single enemy without a silencer because i wanted to catch up on the story before MGS5.

Not as much a problem but stealth approaches is best used in games like this.

Although its not really mandatory unless your playing on the hardest level.

@2 How is it dumb? you like seeing a once great franchise ruined to appeal to the masses? Splinter Cell SHOULD NOT have an Assault mode, It should be ONLY STEALTH. what part of that do you not get?

The part i don’t get is that you have a CHOICE. You’re not FORCED into playing a certain style.

So why should you care what style other people play? Play the Ghost style if you want to, it’s not like your experience is worse because other people are playing a different style than you. Makes no sense.

@2, Problem is that casual gamers like you hate Stealth games or gameplay.

and most of them are turned in to the action games with stealth elements.

Oh god. How do you know i’m a casual gamer?

I’m planning on a Panther playthrough, similar to what i did in Deus Ex. 80% Stealth, 20% combat.

Gamers these days are so goddamn entitled, whining about EVERY damn thing. The game doesn’t force you to play in a way you don’t like, so what is there to complain about, really? Grow up.

people like you just talk nonsense.
so if it doesn’t appeal to the masses, who would buy the game?
oh the 20k fans…as if Ubisoft will make a living out of it.

for goodness SAKE, it’s OPTIONAL! you don’t have to use it.
stick with your stealth and let others use Panther and Assault!
