PS4 launch-day bundles back in stock through Amazon

Wednesday, 24th July 2013 17:02 GMT By Stephany Nunneley

PS4 launch-day bundles are back in stock through Amazon after running out earlier in the month.
According to the retailer
, the consoles are “guaranteed on release date,” and bundles available include Battlefield 4, Killzone: Shadowfall, Knack and Watch Dogs. Thanks, Joystiq.

It says December 31st release date. Is that just a place holder?

Will I be able to download all titles for PS4 on launch day (games that are available on disc at release)? I’d rather not have to order them from Amazon or go to Best Buy on launch day. I’d prefer to get my pre-order Ps4, set it up and download the games. Not sure if it is standard policy for all PS4 titles that they are available as day 1 digital.

I want to pre-order. Don’t have enough cash for it yet though.

SOny said all titles will be there on Day 1 so you could do it through PSN if you so desire.

and now its Sony’s turn for the “we have more.”

    next week MS’s turn again.

there is going to be a lot of disappointed people come launch day..not enough consoles to go around.

Microsoft: “Our system is just SO AWESOME we can’t keep it in stock! Everyone wants one so bad, they’re just flying off the shelves!”

Sony: “Oh hey guys, we heard you want our system, so we paid a few more factories and for longer production cycles so you can actually buy one when it comes out. Enjoy!”

I am surprised that these launch consoles and bundles are off and on again. I am wondering if they really are going to have that much stock available. Most stores I talked to had more PS4′s than Xbox One’s allocated, I wonder if Sony especially can release that many, especially when PS4 is not being held back in certain countries like the Xbox One.
