Square Enix is bringing its mobile RPG Chaos Rings to PS Vita via Sony’s mobile publishing platform.

UPDATE: Siliconera reports that Chaos Rings will hit PS Vita in Japan July 24. We’re waiting to hear more on the Western release date.

ORIGINAL STORY: The publisher is porting the Media Vision effort to PlayStation Mobile, the latest issue of Famitsu reveals.

Although it’s already available on other mobile devices, Siliconera reports Chaos Rings is being optimised for Vita for this release.

Hailing from the same team as Wild Arms, Chaos Rings tells the story of ten characters pitted against each other.

Gematsu reports the prot will see Japanese release in late July. No word on western launch yet.

Chaos Rings spawned a prequel and sequel; both are available on Android and iDevice.
