PSN Summer Festival sale starts today, get the savings here

Sony has launched its Summer Festival season on PSN which will see the PlayStation Store become awash with discounts and other goodies. Get the details here.

Announced on PS Blog EU, the Summer Festival starts today and runs until August 28, bringing new deals and flash sales to the store. Games, music and movies will be included in the discounts.

It all kicks off with Crystal Dynamic’s Tomb Raider reboot, which can be yours now for £16.99/€20.99. PlayStation Plus subscribers can knock a further 10% off the price.

Sony is also offering a whole year’s subscription to its Music Unlimited service for £59.99/€59.99, or £41.99/€41.99 if you’re a PlayStation Plus member.

The PSN movie store is also offering rentals of Quentin Tarantino’s violent Western flick Django Unchained for just £0.99/ €0.99/$1.99 .

    Yeah PC games are usually cheaper, they lowerd the price since years to fight piracy (trying to get more sales).

    You always have to compare with retail aswell, often I get games cheaper in retail than the digital offers or visa versa :)

    Gonne grab Hotline Miami with discount or not and I want Journey/Unfinished Swan but they have to get cheaper.
