Ladies and gentlemen, this is our future. Free to play gaming will be top priority next gen. Microshaft’s already doing it with Killer Instinct for Xbone One.

@1 1) The game is fun. It’s more along the lines of Phoenix Wright than Professor Layton.

    2) The Layton Brothers game is not “free-to-play”. You get to try out the first two cases, and can buy the others (for an incredibly generous price) if you enjoyed it.

Offering the game for free as a demo and giving you the option to buy the whole thing from inside the title is a *great* way to provide games to people. It gives them more exposure and increases the chance of them selling. Microsoft and Sony have been using the exact same system on their downloadable titles for years, Microsoft since day one.
