Saints Row 4 voice cast includes Keith David, Neil Patrick Harris and Troy Baker

Deep Silver has released a partial vocal cast list for Saints Row 4; it's stuffed full of both stars and potential spoilers, so proceed with caution.

As usual, Volition is keen to let players customise their gang boss avatar, so players will have the following voice actor options to choose from:

Nolan North
Troy Baker
Laura Bailey
Robin Atkin Downes
Diane Michelle
Kenn Michael
Sumalee Montano

Nolan North is one of the most prolific voice actors in games, having voiced Uncharted's Nathan Drake, Assassin's Creed's Desmond, and smaller parts in practically everything. Troy Baker is another familiar name; his recent parts include Joel in The Last of Us and Booker in BioShock Infinite.

Laura Bailey is another frequent gaming voice actor, best known for Chun Li in Street Fighter and Serah in the Final fantasy 13 series, but with a broad animation portfolio. Robin Atkin Downes has also been in practically everything but without a recent major starring role in games.

It's not known if the three voices for male and female are accented to reflect ethnicity as in previous titles.

As for the named cast, it's got quite a few celebrities on board. You can moon over these yourself, but it's notable that Keith David appears as himself; the actor played Captain Anderson in the Mass Effect series and that's about the least famous thing he's ever done. Tumblr favourite Neil Patrick Harris of Dr Horrible, How I Met Your Mother and Harold & Kumar fame is in, too. Michael Dorn has a role; you mayknow him as Worf from Star Trek. Don't ask difficult questions about why there's two Shaundis.
