Rabbids Invasion interactive show airs in the US August 3

Rabbids Invasion, the cartoon series from Ubsioft, will debut in the US on Nickelodeon at 11.30am ET/PT August 3, according to the Ubisoft blog.

The initial series debut will consist of 26 episodes, 30 minutes each, containing three shorts centered around the crazy critters for a total of 72. An interactive app will also be released on tablets and will consist of mini games which tie in with the show.

According to Ubisoft, the first episode will contain the shorts: Omelet Party, Rabbid Mollusk and Rabbid, Are You There?

Each episode will be available on iTunes, Amazon Instant Video, the PlayStation Store, Samsung Media Hub and Vudu the day after the episodes air. Rabbids Invasion should start airing on Nickelodeon channels outside the US this Autumn.

It is also in the works on Xbox One.

    It’s a bit sad they didn’t do this before the whole Minion craze, these guys deserved it (but dreamworks just got their yellow clones in front of mainstream audiences first)
