Dust 514 Mordu's Challenge live event kicks off tomorrow

Score some rare gear by participating in a live challenge event for Dust 514.

As detailed on the PlayStation Blog, Mordu's Challenge begins on July 11 - US time - and has players participating in public matches with the aim of completing one - or more - of a number of objectives.

Players have until July 18 - again, US time - to reach any or all of these goals and score the listed reward:

  • 100x Enemy Kills – Assault C/1-Series Dropsuit + C15-A Tactical Sniper Rifle (all equipment Caldari themed) x50
  • 100x Installations Destroyed – Logistics M/1-Series Dropsuit + BDR-8 Triage Repair Tool (all equipment is Minmatar themed) x50
  • 100x Objective Hacks – Scout G/1 Series Dropsuit + GLU-5 Tactical Assault Rifle (all equipment Gallente themed) x50
  • 100x Enemy Kill Assists – Prometheus class dropship x25

Players who manage every objective will receive 100 Falchion class HAVs, 80GJ Stabilized Neutron Blasters and HT Linear Flux Stabilizers.

If you're keen on lore, Mordu's Legion is one of the oldest mercenary organisations, having given shelter to Templar One, the first cloned soldier, when he broke away from his Amarr controllers. The Legion has come under threat due to the competition posed by clone-heavy mercenary groups, and issued the challenge above to see if these easy-come, easy-go soldiers can hold their own.

Dust 514 is a free-to-play MMO shooter with ties to EVE Online, exclusive to PlayStation 3.
