Secrets of Rætikon is the latest from And Yet It Moves dev

And Yet It Moves and Chasing Aurora developer Broken Rules invite you to discover the Secrets of Rætikon, first and foremost of which is how to do that conjoined letter thing. Admire this beautiful teaser trailer.

According to an article on Indiestatik, Secrets of Rætikon has been in the works since 2011, developed alongside Chasing Aurora, with which it shares a universe.

Inspired by dreams of flying, which I hope you've experienced, Secrets of Rætikon is a third-person aerial adventure, which has players discovering the ruins of an ancient civilisation, interacting with a cast of animals, and exploring a mountain environment.

"Fly freely through rugged alpine mountains. Enter the homeland of wild animals. Encounter ancient machines, scattered over the landscape. Can you unlock their secrets? Will you survive in the wilderness? Do you engage in combat or solve the mysteries of the world peacefully? It's up to you," the developer suggested.

Indiestatik's report notes that players will be able to feed animals like lynxes and encourage them to interact with each other - not necessarily with peaceful intent.

Broken Rules is yet to confirm platforms for its new game; Chasing Aurora was a Wii U exclusive, while And Yet It Moves started on PC before heading to WiiWare. There's no release window beyond 2013, either. If you're keen to know more, the developer offers an email sign up.
