Final Fantasy 14 beta three's final phase starts today

If you want to get in on Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn's third beta phase, you'd better sign up quick - the final test kicks off in a few hours.

The testing begins at 10:00AM BST today and runs through to the same time on Monday.

There will be at least one more beta before the rebuilt MMORPG's August launch, with details of beta phase four expected soon.

You can register for the beta here; there are plenty of codes going around if you do a bit of searching. The beta is available for both PC and PlayStation 3 and has cross-play.

Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn is a completely new game which happens to share the title of retired precursor; it's worth a try even if you didn't like the original. Square Enix knows as well as you do that you didn't, which is why it took the whole thing down and started again. Kudos.
