Civilization 5: Brave New World now available for OS-X

Faithful Firaxis port specialist Aspyr has quietly announced the release of Brave New World for the Mac version of Civilization 5.

"But Brenna," you say, "I know that; it just came out on PC?"

To which I reply: "Yes but normally it takes forever for games to hit the operating system I carry around on my holidays, so well done Aspyr for a day-and-date launch."

Depending on your territory you might still be able to nab it at a pre-order discount (hooray Australia) from Steam, in-app from the Mac App Store version, and from other digital distributors, as the global launch is July 12 - several days after the US gets it.

An FAQ is available for the terminally OS-X baffled.
