Injustice: Gods Among Us could be getting a Game of the Year release in November, according to a newly-sighted listing on Amazon France.

The listing states that the GOTY version of Injustice will hit PS Vita on November 6.

We’ve contacted publisher Warner Bros. for comment and will update if we hear anything.

Thanks Shoryuken.

Everybody knows a GOTY edition is inevitable, but I’d be very surprised if it comes as early as November.

in all honesty, I loved MK9 favorite fighting game of all time, just filled with entertainment :) this.. it was good dont get me wrong but probably due to budget or licensing, it just seemed they couldnt go as far as they would of wanted.

anyway assuming they get GOTY already is kind of arrogant? i mean its ‘game of the year’ not ‘games of the year’ as most recently seen, i mean how many game of the year editions came out this year, its surprising but yeah maybe they deserve it?.. :p

@3 – It definitely would win Fighting Game of the Year by default.

You can thank Street Fighter for this trend. It began with SF2 which got Super SF2. Then Hyper Editions. Then Alpha and so forth. MK stole the idea and made UMK3. Thankfully, the whole thing stopped until SF4 came along.

Street Fighter 4!? How about Super SF4. Or how about SFF4 Arcade Edition? Or SSF4 Arcade Edition 2012? Then BlazBlu did the same thing. Then Capcom returned with UMVC3.
Now we have this for EVERY fighting game: MK9 Komplete Ed, Ultimate DOA and more.
