Papo & Yo on sale on Green Man Gaming

I wouldn’t normally post a sale notification for just one game when there’s so much going on, but Papo & Yo is an extraordinary game well worth a look, so if you’ve been holding off, head on over to Green Man Gaming to pick it up for just $5.09 or local equivalent. You can also grab it in a bundle with the soundtrack for the near-criminally under-priced $5.77. Both offers require Steam and are available on PC only. Papo & Yo explores a childhood overshadowed by an alcoholic parent and may cause you to have feelings and need a quiet lie down; it’s also a pretty fun, puzzle-heavy action adventure.

It’s pretty great if you’re at all into games making artistic statements. It has its problems, but it’s very enjoyable if it clicks with you. I’d recommend it.

This is why I love open platforms, really. They’re indie friendly, and games like this just don’t fit well with closed, mainstream platforms.

Kind of sad that there hasn’t been any commenting on this other than myself. It’s a great game, and one that actually treats you as if you were an intelligent person, rather than a subhuman slug of a thing. Imagine that.

I don’t get that, really. Why people want that, as opposed to this.
