Star Wars: The Old Republic holding bounty hunting event in August

August is going to bring players of Star Wars: The Old Republic Update 2.3, which comes with a new Ewok companion that they can buy, but that's not all that next month will give you. August will also see the first Bounty Contract Week, which will allow players to take, you know, bounties to hunt down and kill.

According to the news release about this topic, "Targets include members of crime syndicates, violent gangs, and various other law-breaking entities. High-profile targets, designated “Kingpins,” may only be hunted through Kingpin Contracts, which are entrusted to professionals who have a proven track record with the BBA." Which means, unfortunately, no bounties on other players.

You'll need to be at least level 15 to take on a bounty, and each target will be level appropriate for you when you take him or her or it on.

And don't worry if you can't hit all the targets in that one week; this will be a recurring monthly event, so you'll have all the time in the world to take down these targets.
