Competition: Destiny class banners & shirts up for grabs

Friday, 5 July 2013 20:00 GMT By Staff

Destiny developer Bungie will be celebrating Bungie Day this weekend on July 7, and to celebrate the studio is giving our readers a chance to win some specially designed Destiny class banners and shirts.

UPDATE:

We’ve randomly chosen our winners using a number generator and they are as follows:

Ryekongstad – Wins a Warlock banner and t-shirt
xxxtheizxxx – Wins a Titan banner and t-shirt
nemes1sen4cer – Wins a Hunter banner and t-shirt
kdmitchell27 – Wins a t-shirt
silkvg247 – Wins a t-shirt
MorningOn – Wins a t-shirt.

We’ll tweet you this morning to let you know you’ve won, then Dave will add you on Twitter and get your postage details / shirt sizes. He’s @davescook on Twitter so please accept his invite so he can DM you.

ORIGINAL STORY: Bungie Day is part of Bungie Week, and it’ll see the studio looking back across its own history, showing off more of Destiny and giving fans some swag in the process. You can get a full breakdown of what to expect here.

As for the Destiny banners, we’ve got one for each class to give away. Here’s images of each banner you could win and a breakdown of what each class involves:

This is the Warlock, soldiers who have studied the Traveller for many years, and in doing so have mastered some of its arcane properties. They combine magic and firearms in the field and are capable of lethal area of effect attacks.

The Hunters are wanderers who roam like outlaws in search of spoils and glory. They’re adept at stealth techniques and other cunning tricks.

Finally, the Titans built the walls around the city to defend it from the creatures beyond, and they pack strong armour. They seem bulkier than other classes and like to pack big firearms.

Now then, the question is, which of the three class banners would you like to win? Let us know below and we’ll randomly pick three top winners who will each receive their chosen banner, as well as a Destiny t-shirt. We’ll also pick three runners up to win a t-shirt each as well.

IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ THIS BIT, LIKE, SERIOUSLY YOU GUYS:

Make sure you leave your Twitter handle if you have one so we can contact you if you win. If you don’t have Twitter, you’ll just have to keep an eye on this page for the winners on Tuesday July 9, then we’ll give you further instructions.

That’s all you have to do, no hashtags, no retweets, nothing. Just tell us which one you want.

Meanwhile, you can also check out this Destiny gameplay footage from E3 last month.

Good luck to everyone who enters.

  • Scratch that cyberpunk itch with Technobabylon on May 21 – new trailer

  • I have no idea what is going on in J-Stars Victory VS+ but I kind of like it

In this J-Stars Victory VS+ trailer, we see – uhh. Well. We certainly see some things. Look y’all, I was a massive weaboo in high school, but that was back in the dark ages when we had to take out Manga Entertainment VHS tapes from dingy little specialist rental joints that were literally underground, and […]

  • Please just watch this terrific trailer for Toren

Toren is the kind of game I dream about when I drift off to sleep at night. This indie puzzle adventure strikes a spark in my little soul in the same way as Ico and Tequila Works’ Rime do. Mysterious, almost ethereal fantasy setting – check. Chance to actually walk around in that setting – […]
