Pokemon Generations: fan-made action RPG available now

Pokemon Generations is a fan-made action RPG take on Game Freak's series of adventures. You can download the game for free and check out footage of it running. It's almost like a 3D take on the handheld titles, and it looks pretty good. It's available to play now.

The clip above shows a Pokemon trainer fighting Bulbasaur using his Charmander and it gives a taste of what a fully 3D take on traditional Pokemon RPGs might look like.

Developed by a team of independent coders, Generations' plot bridges the gap between Pokemons Red / Blue / Yellow and Leaf Green / Fire Red.

Fans can keep up to date with new additions to the game via the Pokemon Generations forum, again, that's if it isn't killed soon.

You can download Pokemon Generations via IndieDB here.
