Assassin’s Creed 2 will be released as part of the Games with Gold incentive on Xbox Live July 16. Confusion on the matter arose just yesterday when it was implied the game would not see a release in July. Apparently that is not the case after all. At any rate, the date is now confirmed as July 16.

Annoying how so far every single game released within this I already own. Similarly when I bought the Vita, got Uncharted with it only for it to be free on PS+ like days afterwards. I should be more patient. :/

@1 Patience is understandable with new releases, but these are games that are years old or more. It wouldn’t surprise me if people already owned the vast majority of the games Microsoft is offering.
