Teleglitch: Die More Edition headed to Steam via Paradox

Paradox Interactive has vowed to help deliver a new-and-improved version of uncompromising retro rogue-like Teleglitch.

The publisher has teamed up with indie developer T3P to produce Teleglitch: Die More Edition, an expanded version of the 2012 release. The new edition boasts new branching levels, extra items and weapons, additional story content and new monsters with improved AI.

It will release on Linux, Mac and PC via various digital distributors including Steam in northern summer. It's been priced at $13, but just to put a cherry on it if you already own the original version you'll be upgraded for free.

Teleglitch is variously described as a top-down shooter, survival horror and RPG, all with crafting and randomly generated levels; the trailer below gives the best idea, I think.
