Incognita is a “turn-based tactical espionage,” game in the works at Klei Entertainment

Incognita has been announced by Klei Entertainment as a “turn-based tactical espionage,” game where you will be tasked with stealing items from heavily secure locations around the globe.

According to the developer, speaking with IGN, the game is "10% of XCOM and 90% putting your guys in the right places and holding position."

Players will hack into and secure security cameras in order to find out where enemies are and "be smart about it" or your team will die - permanently.

“When we’re thinking about the feeling of espionage, we didn’t want it to be a visceral experience,” said Klei founder Jamie Cheng. “We wanted it to be a cerebral experience.”

Incognita is coming to PC first and is currently without a release date, but you can fiddle with an ARG for it at the moment. A beta should be ready in "a few months."

Mac and Linux will come at a later date. coming later.
