UK Charts: The Last of Us claims first for third week running

The Last of Us has held its position at top of the UK charts for a third-week since launch. Naughty Dog’s post-apocalyptic romp has been selling well after receiving glowing praise from the gaming press.

The game, which recently had a working sex-line number patched out, is riding high in the face of Minecraft Xbox 360′s retail release and the immensely popular Animal Crossing: New Leaf. New entry Deadpool debuted at sixth.

    I wonder what’s the numbers for ACIII. That thing stayed in top 10 since it launched, just like Fifa.

    I always love it when you see quality rise to the top like this and continues to sell. Please publishers take notes! I just hope it continues to sell like this, I’d be happy to see more games aim for this level of quality.

    Poor Deadpool. He deserves a better spot, a better game and definitely a better publisher than Activision.
