The Last of Us debuts on top in Japan, Vita sees slight jump in unit sales

The Last of Us debuted at number one in Japan on the Media Create charts. The PS3 title shifted 117,465 units, knocking last week's number one Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D to the second spot. It moved another 42,247 for the period, while Tomodachi Collection: New Life continues to thrive at the three spot. It shifted another 34,286 units, bringing its lief-to-date numbers to 1,167,532. The only hardware to show a jump over the prior week was Vita, which moved 13,422 units compared to last week's 10,664 units. All other hardware offerings were down over the prior week.
