Gran Turismo 6 gameplay shown during GT Academy show, watch it here

Gran Turismo 6 gameplay has been shown as part of the Nissan-sponsored GT Academy show. The E3 special saw contestants on the show battling it out in the new PS3 racer. Check out the footage here.

The racer is getting a demo on PS3 next week, and it’s structured like a GT Academy training routine. Check out all the details of what to expect here.

    @1 You’re full of shit man. I’ve been playing PC racing sims all my life and in 2006 no sim on PC had better gfx.

    Sure, PC sims had better resolution, sharper textures, smoother frame rate, AA and AF. But GT got spectacular lighting and shaders, which when combined create a much more realistic look.

    The only sim that looked better (for me) was iRacing but it had only static lighting and came out in 2008. In GT5, try doing a race at LeMans or the Nurburgring with time change enable, it’s spectacular.

    Only now, with Projects CARS and Assetto Corsa the PC is starting to compete in the lighting and shaders department, and these games are still in beta.

    @5 ill say toca race driver 3 with full details aax8 from 2005 i repeat 2005 and Test drive unlimited from 2006/07…. nuff said.. PC never compete pc wins always and thats a fact…consoles compete and trying to implacate pc graphics i hope ps4 and xone can achive what pc was capable around 6-7 years ago.
