Divinity: Dragon Commander video shows 27-minutes of dragons-with-jetpacks madness

Larian Studios has released a 27-minute developer guided video of Divinity: Dragon Commander. Watch below as dragons-with-jetpacks perform strategic maneuvers. We also have some screenshots for you below. The game will release on PC August 6.

    I feel weirdly about Dragon Commander. Why? It distinctly feels almost exactly like this game was made for me. From the mix of magic and science, unbound by any needs for familiarity, to the art nouveau chapel airships, and the rocketpack-sporting dragons. It has no limits.

    And yet… I don’t recall commissioning an entire game developer to create a game for me, and I don’t believe I actually have the money to do that, anyway. At least I don’t think I do. You’d think if I did something like that, I’d remember it.

    I don’t say this to slight Larian, though. To the contrary, it’s the greatest of praise. This is one of those games that I’ve wanted to play since the very first piece of concept art. Excited doesn’t even cover it. About the only response I have is…
