Ridiculous Fishing update will double content by year's end, says Vlambeer

Ridiculous Fishing developer Vlambeer has revealed it is working on a new game update that will double the amount of content on offer by year's end.

Speaking with Digital Spy, the studio's head of business and development Rami Ismail said, "When we released the game, we promised people that for $2.99 (£1.79) they would get Ridiculous Fishing without any further in-app purchases or anything.

"We're going to keep our word, but we want to emphasise that point that we were really serious about that. The plan we have now, if we pull it off the way we want to, we're going to double the content and add a completely new narrative arc, and explore that world a bit further."

Ismail added, "As well as double the amount of content in Ridiculous Fishing, we want to do it with the same level of quality and care as with the original game."

Since Ridiculous Fishing launched in March it has sold well and has received a positive response from reviewers. You can buy it on iOS now for £1.99 / $2.99.
