Phantasy Star Online 2 still delayed in the west

Tuesday, 18th June 2013 17:43 GMT By Stephany Nunneley

Phantasy Star Online 2 is still heading west at some point, but the release has been delayed, according to SEGA. The delay in the western release was announced three months back when it was slated for an early 2013 release, so the fact that it is still delayed hopefully means you will still be able to play it at some point. Phantasy Star Online 2: Episode 2 will release in Japan next month, and the game is available on PC and Vita. Thanks, Kotaku.

they delayed it to make a ps4 version in my opinion. so when it comes over it will be vita, ps4, and pc.

I actualy been thinking the same type of thing Killersense.

I don’t want to wait for the game, but would welcome a PS4 version.

I’d be baffled if we dont get it on one of the next consoles seeing as its on Vita.

They didn’t even show this game at E3. Im skeptical we will ever see it in the west because Sega.

I will admit that it’s looking a little better than the original trailers, now. It doesn’t look quite as washed out. What they showed originally reminded me of the Final Fantasy MMO in how washed out it looked, and that’s just not what Phantasy Star Online is about.
