Ken Levine writing Logan’s Run script for Warner Bros. Pictures - report

Deadline has reported that BioShock creator Ken Levine has taken over writing the script for Warner Bros. Pictures' remake of Logan's Run.

According to the site, the 1976 cult classic science fiction film is being remade with Jon Berg overseeing its production.

The film, which many of us are too young to remember seeing, in the theater at least, was based on the 1967 novel by William F. Nolan and George Clayton John.

It was set in the year 2116 and people were willingly executed upon turning 21 years of age - 30 at the maximum - to control the population. Michael York starred in the original film.

A spin-off series for TV was created in 1977 and failed miserably.
