Clem Wright of Google's Creative Labs posted that the game was designed to invoke the "structured intellectual discourse about exactly how badly we were going to destroy each other" of local multiplayer, online.

While WebRTC, is currently on supported on the desktop version of Chrome, the development team at Google are confident we'll be able to play Cube Slam on phones and tablets later in the year as the tech makes the jump.

Although playing with a mate is a simple as sharing a URL, you can also play against the adorable Bob the Bear, the mascot of Google's Ursine Diversion Division.
