  6. Tavarish

@2 It was more and less confirmed that it was “random” draw from newsletter mailing list.

@3 That is very debatable. There has been some backtracking of people that got into this Alpha and some of them have barely touched Bf 3 and only other Bf game on account is F2P one.

Hopefully there is healthy amount actual vets in for that point of view feedback.

  7. Crussong

    No Windows 8 support?
Is it for the Alpha or in general?
Not asking for me, but my father is using Windows 8 for a few weeks now and is playing Battlefield 3 a lot.

    #7 2 years ago
  8. Keivz

Wow, I hope these aren’t the final system requirements. I have win-8 64 bit and vista 32 bit. What’s with no support of the newest operating system? Win-8 handles games just fine and certainly better than vista! And why no listing of system RAM requirements? Is V-ram becoming the most important factor for the next gen?

    #8 2 years ago
  9. Max Payne

@8 Considering its 64 bit only , I think minimum is 4gb to have.
And for windows 8 , I think is just for alpha , because vista/7/8 are pretty much identical in architecture/kernel.

    #9 2 years ago
  10. CyberMarco

I suppose that the minimum recommended RAM is 4GB, because the 64bit requires so.

BF4 still unable to do wat MAG did
    256 players

    #11 2 years ago
  12. Yoshi

@11 Actually it’s more like players aren’t able to do that. Just look at the graphics of MAG versus BF4. It’s a lot more to process. I know for a fact a lot of people who can barely run BF3 would lag like fuck.

    #12 2 years ago
  13. OwnedWhenStoned

I’ve got MAG and it’s nowhere near as good as BF or even CoD.

Whilst it is technically impressive, having more players doesn’t necessarily make it a better game.

    #13 2 years ago
  14. macronia

    @10 then BF4 may require 4GB minimum – 6GB recommended at launch ?

@11 MAG can’t do what Planetside 2 is doing. 2000 players / continent, 3 continent and growing ^.^ And PS 2 actually has graphics engine to go with that.

@14 That would be glorious. WTF, game that would actually use memory! I know right?

  20. Crussong

@backup, try to troll more, idiot. We’re still not convinced MAG is so much better than BF4. Go!

ps3fanboy and backup are the same person.
MAG is shiiiiiit and so is PS3 and PS4. PS4 is just a PC packed inside a console case nothing more. Games are still better on PC with GTX Titan, GTX 780 and GTX 690 raping your PS4 everyday. Also higher resolution than 1080p (which is btw 7+ years old) and 60+fps. We can choose if we want to play with mouse/keyboard OR with a controller, you console-fuckers cant. We can plug in our PCs also with TVs and we pay less for more graphics and better game overall.

    #23 2 years ago

Battlefield 3 on Metacritic = 89% high score you bitch ps3sucker and fuckup guy!

Who the fuck said PS4 will also have 2000 players support you cocksucker? It only will be released also on the PS4 nothing more. And why it will also be released on the PS4? Because its basicly a PC and not a console. They just downgrade it so PS4 players can also play it. They were begging for it like other F2P and MMO games like Elder Scrolls Online (now also on PS4 because they sucked the cocks of the developers so hard, begging).

No one plays MAG dont you fucking realize. BF4 with 64 players is perfect, not getting spawn killed like in MAG. And hey I have a PC, PS3 and 360, and I like Uncharted but thats it nothing more. But sadly I got a YLOD on my PS3 Launch 60GB version but that console sucked anyone, wasnt like the old nice PS2. This generation Xbox 360 had better multiplatform games with better graphics and framerates but PC is still best, you can use Mouse/Keyboard and Controller and Games are cheap on Steam.
