Thursday, 13th June 2013 08:52 GMT By Dave Cook

The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds will hit 3DS across North America this November, Nintendo has confirmed.

Previously slated for a ‘winter’ release date, IGN reports that Nintendo narrowed its window to a November US launch during an investor event yesterday.

The sequel to Zelda: A Link to the Past is still pegged for a ‘later this year’ launch across Europe.

Come on guys, don’t leave us hanging.

Meanwhile, you can watch Nintendo’s E3 live-stream here. It has footage of Bayonetta 2, Super Smash Bros, Super Mario 3D World, Mario Kart 8 and more.

Nintendo really disappointed me with their conference. I really wanted to see a next gen Metroid and Zelda. But instead we got an HD version of a Donkey Kong game and new 3D mario game that has a timer.

^I think a lot of people wanted to see that. The 3D Mario they showed was not the kind of 3D Mario game that I was expecting. It looks fun, sure, but is more of a placeholder until they drop a real, meaty 3D Mario in late 2015. Which is about the time I expect a new Zelda & Metroid to be out.

The good news is that the 3DS is shaping up to be a fantastic little system. I couldn’t be happier that they’re making a sequel to A Link to the Past.

The 3DS is not the Nintendo thing I worry about. And clearly not this Game, which I’m sure will be awesome.

    WiiU is Problem.

Announcing a next-gen Metroid (where Samus is written well) or Zelda would have been a real boost for Nintendo at E3 for a reason to actually buy a Wii U. But, maybe it was decided that Sony and Microsoft would be getting too much buzz during this E3 for Nintendo to announce a major game in either franchise.
