US PS Store Update, June 11 - EA Online Passes retired, Tekken Revolution, more

This week's North American PlayStation Store up[date has some good content, but it's also just full of interesting things, as well as a nice sale on big name 2012 titles.

Kicking off with PS3 Full games then, we have The Last of Us, ready for its launch later this week; Aliens: Colonial Marines; and Final Fantasy XIII-2. On the PSN game front, there's also Tekken Revolution, a free-to-play affair. Gosh.

There are two new PS2 Classics - Contra: Shattered Soldier and Pirates: Legends of the Black Buccaneer. For Vita, there's Flying Hamster HD.

Plus subscribers score a free copy of Machinarium this week, as well as 30% off Music Unlimited and a number of discounts, including on further PS Plus Subscriptions. Now that Sony's confirmed you'll need PlayStation Plus for multiplayer on PlayStation 4, you might want to stock up.

There's a demo for vocaloid adventure Hatsune Miku Project Diva F and for Flying Hamster.

Usually I wouldn't bother with price changes but this week sees the end of EA's Online Pass system. These are all free now, so if you pick up an EA game second hand, be sure to browse the store for add-on content.

The Best of 2012 E3 Sale is pretty sweet, too - Dishonored's on sale, as is Tomb Raider, Metal Gear Rising: revengeance, Far Cry 3, Borderlands 2, Sound Shapes, Quantum Conundrum, The Unfinished Swan, XCOM: Enemy Unknown, and lots of other things I'm personally less excited about.

To DLC now. Check out new content for Aliens: Colonial Marines; Deadly Premonition: Director's Cut; DC Universe Online; Final Fantasy XIII-2 (it's a bundle, don't get excited); God of War: Ascension; Grid 2; Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory; Injustice: Gods Among Us; LittleBigPlanet Vita; LittleBigPlanet 2; LittleBigPlanet Karting; Metro: Last Light; Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault; Resident Evil: Revelations; and Soul Sacrifice.
